"Pry, To" is the seventh song of Pearl Jam's Vitalogy, an unusal song not only among the others but also comparing to Ten and Vs. songs.
Analysis[]
The song has no true meaning since lyrics seems to be reversed and mumbled. The title only resembles the act of lurking, a theme the band adressed through all the album and their struggle with fame. Some believe Eddie is saying "P-r-i-v-a-c-y is priceless to me", others beleive the music backwards means "Pete Townsend how he saved my life".
